Short Stories is a new hotel experience located in the center of it all. We’re a short walk to the best shopping, dining, and museums the city has to offer. Drawing inspiration from Los Angeles’s breezy natural aesthetic, our hotel serves as a tranquil retreat in an urban core.

Very lovely accomodation and location

Liked:The hotel was very nice overall. I would go back for the location and that traditional California feel. Maybe a little overpriced for the age and condition of the property, but that is LA. It would be hard to find a better location / property / service / parking ($45 USD at time of writing this). Being across from the Grove is a real bonus. The reception staff are lovely, they gave me a room upgrade just because and I didn't ask. Rooms have a fridge as well. The onsite restaurant and bar also a bonus as it's not that hotel vibe, more a place you would go to for the evening.

Disliked:Price if you don't use booking.com as it's pretty expensive. But you can find sales / room discounts.

Liked:location excellent.restaurant very good, we come every year and we feel it like family, the staff very professional and kind.

Disliked:It could be cheaper for what it offers, the pillows could be more comfy.
