The property will authorize the credit card for 1 night room and tax at time of booking for verification and validation. The credit card will be charged at time of check-in. Cash is not accepted as payment at the hotel. Housekeeping service is provided once per week for stays of 7 nights or more. Additional housekeeping services are available for a fee. The property's terms and conditions must be accepted to validate a reservation for over 28 nights. Worst travel experience ever

Disliked:I’ve never written anything negative on google, however I had the most unpleasant and frustrating experience at AKA Beverly Hills—easily the worst stay of my life. I requested a quiet room well in advance of my arrival to accommodate jet lag, only to be placed in the only room available: one directly above active construction on Wilshire. The noise was unbearable throughout the entire night, and I didn’t sleep at all. When I went to the front desk to request a move, they claimed there were no other rooms and told me my only option was to cancel for a refund—leaving me to scramble to find a new hotel at the last minute. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was inexcusably rude and condescending. One staff member spoke to me as if I didn't understand English, patronizingly explaining, “In the United States, we call it a refund.” I have lived in the U.S. for 20 years; being treated with such ignorance was deeply offensive and unprofessional. The service issues continued the next morning. I tried calling the front desk for luggage assistance from my room, but no one answered. When I called from my personal cell phone, they picked up immediately—it was clear they were deliberately ignoring calls from my room. Furthermore, when I asked about a $500 security deposit that appeared on my credit card statement, the staff flatly denied the charge and treated me as if I were confused, despite me having the physical payment record in front of me. Communication and management are clearly nonexistent here. While their client service manager later reached out to offer a move to a quiet room, the damage was already done by the hostility and incompetence I experienced throughout my stay. I would strongly advise against booking here if you value your rest or want to be treated with basic dignity.

TIME FOR REFURBISHMENT

Liked:I considered AKA my home away from home and I usually looked forward to my stay in the center of Beverly Hills , walking distance to everything .... The staff is always friendly and eager to help, the 1 bedroom studio I usually get is huge. It has a sitting area, dining area, a full bathroom ,a powder room, a decently big kitchen and a laundry machine. The main issue this time is that the place was run down. They have not kept the place in good condition. Things were worn out and falling apart, sunken sofas, fuzz on the upholstered headboard, chewed on baseboard, pet stains everywhere, etc.... While the prices have stayed high, the place does not reflect the high end quality. The service was still friendly and the complimentary coffee in the morning is a nice touch. I would still want a clean and a new room. I cannot give it my GoldnAdvice seal of approval unless I hear it has been refurbished. And while they are refurbishing, they might want to add a magnifying ( at least 5 X) makeup mirror in the bathroom.
