Ideal for a short break and so convenient to Derry city.

Liked:Situation very convenient, room very comfortable and clean. Property surrounded by green fields. Nice for a stroll in the countryside while Derry city a very short drive away.

Odd vibes, comfy bed

Liked:The bed was comfortable and the location was quite good.

Disliked:The whole vibe was off. I had several automated messages but nothing with a human touch. The front door wasn't locked at all, which didn't feel particularly safe, and there was a note on the door asking guests not to lock it. When we arrived, it was like there were Covid restrictions still in place. There was a lot of talk of a tablet for check in and contact but there was no tablet to be found. There was a kettle but no spoons, tea or coffee. It was extremely warm and very difficult to turn off the heating. The bathroom door is a sliding wardrobe door with no handle on the inside. The day before we arrived I had an automated message about breakfast options, including a local bakery, but the information about opening times was incorrect! I also got an automated message today saying "You indicated your stay was a positive experience with us on our check out survey the day you left."... I didn't have any contact with anyone so not sure where they have got that from.

Nice room, not fully safe though

Disliked:None of the self check in services worked and host didn't reply to messages, the lock on the door was dodgy, the code is never changed and the front door slams Everytime someone uses it so I was constantly disturbed

Great for a short stay

Liked:The bed was comfortable. Parking on site. Overall good for a short stay. Garden room cosy with a nice view. Host gave good recommendations 👍🏼

Disliked:Nothing really bad - just some 1st world problems 🤣 Room door locked but outside door did not but the Host apologised & advised had just happened & was getting fixed. The tablet that was to be used for check in and communication was not available.(again Host apologised & advised had been damaged by previous guests and she had not been advised).
