Extremely disappointed in this Embassy Suites

Liked:The location was convenient. The staff serving breakfast was helpful.

Disliked:The carpet in our room had not been vacuumed in quite some time. The shower in our room did not drain and we had to contact the front desk two times before they sent someone to take care of it. The common areas around the atrium were dirty, the front staff somewhat rude and short with not only me but others in my party. Overall, the hotel desperately needs to be updated and renovated and thoroughly cleaned. At 1:30 AM, there were people running around the atrium area bouncing a basketball.and running and screaming. I called the front desk and no one answered, so I asked them to keep it down that it was 1:30 in the morning and they cursed at me. If you need to check in even an hour early, you will be charged $25. I am extremely. Disappointed in this brand and am probably never going to stay in another Embassy Suites.

What a bummer

Liked:We chose this hotel specifically because of the pool and hot tub and even went out of our way to stay here for those amenities. Unfortunately, we weren't informed ahead of time that both were closed, which was very disappointing. Another surprise was the $100-per-night credit hold that wasn't clearly explained during the booking or check-in process. Better communication about additional charges and holds would help guests avoid confusion. The hotel restaurant was also noticeably dirty during our visit, which made dining there less enjoyable. On a positive note, the bartender was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The room itself was clean and comfortable, which we appreciated. Overall, this stay could have been much better with clearer communication about amenity closures and fees, along with more attention to cleanliness in the restaurant.

Never book here again

Liked:Room on main floor. Was not advised of kids sporting event the week we booked. Hundred of kids running and playing all over hotelCar and party buses playing loud music in front of our hotel window at 10pm. Room had candy on floor from previous guest. Bathroom outlet not working. Bad experience.
