Better Hotels Nearby

Liked:Decent location for visiting the foothills. The hotel shows wear and tear and lack of maintenance. Parking lot is not lit in most areas. Shower head pointed toward the wall and was almost uncontrollable for temperature. Breakfast buffet was poor. I will not stay there again.

I’m not impressed. Between the check-in misinformation and the cleanliness of the bathroom.

Liked:The size of the room was nice.

Disliked:1) I received a text before my reservation that check-in would be at 3 pm. I arrived at 3:15, to be told me room was not ready and it would be at least 45 minutes due to staff needing to take a lunch. I would have planned around a 4 pm arrival if I hadn’t been told that check-in in was 3 pm. I was “upgraded” to a double queen suite which is not what I requested but I needed to be able to use the room immediately and not wait an additional 45 minutes. I understand people need to take mandatory lunches but this feels like an oversight to offer a check in at a certain time and not provide that. 2) the shower in my room was disguting. The edge of the tub was not clean and the showerhead was extremely grimy.
