A beautiful and well-equipped apartment in the 'Parque das Nações' area

Liked:Pros: The apartment is WELL equipped with everything anyone can think of. It feels like being at home, not having to worry about anything missing (kitchenware, electrical appliances, first-aid kit etc.). The staff is available upon request via phone and/or WhatsApp (the reception office is under construction) and are very kind and helpful. I had a problem with the bathtub water stopper, and they sent a technician almost immediately to fix it. Cons: Location: when I ordered the apartment, I was not familiar with the city of Lisbon. It's located in a beautiful area but not near the city center. Plenty of things to do around, but it takes 30-40 minutes to get to the city center. Another issues was with the air-condition. There are two air-conditions in the apartment. One is located in the bedroom and it works fine. The other one is near the main entrance door and it's not cooling the living room properly (or it does so after working for a long time).

Tough Alternative to a Hotel

Liked:The location is great if you are looking to be close to the aquarium, and the other sites of parque das nações which is a great neighborhood. The interior of the apartment is very nice except for the quality of the showers where the handheld showers were hanging on by dental floss. It does heat/cool by individual units in the rooms which are off when you get in so it was very hot initially but cooled within a couple of hours. I also loved that we could find 3-bedroom units. Here are the challenges - (1) You have to phone someone when you arrive at one of the buildings who will tell you which of the buildings to walk to and wait for them to arrive. (2) It took 30 minutes of us sitting in the lobby with 2 kids, 2 seniors and 10 pieces of luggage before we were able to check in. That was after a 2nd call to remind them we were waiting. We had tickets to the aquarium and were 30 minutes late because of it. (3) Following the arrival of the checkin person we had to complete paperwork, and provide passports and creditcards for them to photograph and run, but again in the middle of the lobby with kids and frustrated parents, etc instead of exploring the city. All of this could have been done before arrival electronically and just confirmed when on-site. (4) They didn't have our payment info accurately reflected so there was back and forth on whether they should run our creditcards for a few hours before they did locate our previous payment. They absolutely would have charged us 2x if I hadnt remembered we already paid -- not intentional misrepresentation but they are just disorganized. (5) The residents of the bldg dont love that tourists are housing there - we had the elevator shut in our faces twice. (6) We had an international flight the next morning at 11am so were trying to get our group out the door at 8am and the doorbell rings for a walk through of the apartment to review for any potential damage. I had no idea this was part of the process and to have it spring up in the middle of the chaos was unexpected and frustrating. They also took the keys at that time which meant when we realized we had left something in the unit we then had to call them to return with the key so we could grab it. For all of these reasons, I would not recommend this option for tourists - it's just not worth the time and hassle when you have flown across the world to be there.

Lovely Location and Nice Apartment

Liked:I came with my family of 5 and we rented a 3-bedroom apartment which was very ideal. Apartment was clean and well equipped since we did our own cooking. The location in Parques Das Nacaoes was very ideal and less than 10 minutes walk to the Vasco Da Gama central mall which made it easy to do our grocery shopping and other required shopping. We initially booked for 8 nights, but ended up extending for our entire 16 nights stay in Lisbon because we could not think of a better apartment to switch to in Lisbon.

Wonderful Service Apartment

Liked:I stayed for 3 nights and it is a wonderful service apartment. Spaceful, full equiped kitchen, Molton Brown bath amenities. Staff are very nice, well served and clear explain all the necessary during check-in and check-out. Also provided daily room clean up service. Good location, just location between 2 metro stations ( by 10mins walk) and a bus station just at the front of apartment, which you can take it directly to Lisbon city center. Lot of restaurants near by and a hipersupermarket by walk around 10mins. 100% to recommend stay in this service apartment.
