Liked:The property seems to have a nice hi/story, but it’s not really told nor preserved. Good value for money paid I guess. It’s a shared house. There are also meeting space, and you can donate books. I stayed 5 days, female solo traveler.

Disliked:If you like to explore cities walking and by public transport, bear in mind that this location is up hill compared to the sightseeing spots and you would have to walk uphill 10-15 mn (some streets are only stairs almost for example from Martim Moniz plaza). Not super super clean, the building is in dire need of renovation, maintenance and design. The carpet on the floor is stained, there are several parts of the house that make a lot of noise when walking because of the wood. During my stay, I once went to the shower and there were blood stains on the floor - my guess is period and probably because the only showers are at ground floor so walking to your room that may happen. (It’s totally normal and okay, but it may be an issue for other people passing by). There is no separation on the balcony in case someone has bad intention and rooms would then be accessible - unless you close all but then you cannot have fresh air since, at least in my room, I had no windows but only big doors that would open to the terrace (30 degrees during the day, 15 at night). Didn’t see any recycling bin inside the shared house, but right in front you can recycle pretty easily (glass, paper, plastic, all).

Decent

Liked:Location and design of the facility. Fridge. Laundry machine.

Disliked:Not clean in the property. The walls and doors are thin so I could hear everything (including waking up 3 times because one guy was puking all night + I was waking up at 8 with my neighbors because I could hear them waking up). Toilet door has same design as regular rooms → i got unexpected visitor in my room in the night because of that. Also doors are not safe at all, so if somebody wanted to get in → they could with additional force. Also, for some reason in the laundry area there is a bleach, but not the laundry detergent powder or gel. Also, the entrance door is smashing all the time -- there is no stopper, so you again can wake up in the night. Also in my deluxe room the lamp was brocken, and the floor was dusty / dirty + I stayed 4 nights, but no one emptied my trash bin...
