A disappointing stay in a property that did not match its listing or the expectations created by the advertised photos.

Disliked:The property was completely different from what was presented in the listing. The photos were misleading and created expectations that the actual apartment did not meet. The condition of the property was disappointing, and several important aspects of the accommodation were not as described. I booked this place based on the information and photos provided on Booking.com, and I would not have booked it had the actual condition been accurately represented. I also had to contact customer support regarding the issues during my stay. This was not the standard of accommodation I paid for, and I feel that the listing gave a misleading impression of what guests would actually receive.

Liked:We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was perfect in every way modern, cosy, exceptionally clean, and equipped with absolutely everything we needed. The apartment was beautifully maintained and felt very comfortable and homely throughout our stay. The hosts were also fantastic very responsive, helpful, and always quick to assist whenever we had a question or needed anything. Everything was exactly as described, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again!

Disliked:The location was the only slight downside. The lane itself felt a little less comfortable at night, with people around on the streets throughout the night and some noise. Although nothing happened and we had no actual issues, it did feel a bit unsafe at times. Luckily, there was an exit to the main road very close by on the other side, which made getting around much easier.

Disliked:HARD AVOID - UNSAFE LOCATION AND INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT We booked this apartment from 26 August to 2 September, and the dates were correctly shown on the property's website when we made the reservation. However, due to an error on the side of the company managing the property, their system apparently showed our stay as ending on 29 August. On that day, our access was blocked. We were travelling with our 1-year-old child and our cat and were left without accommodation on one of the worst streets of Lisbon. Despite having apartments available, the company told us we would have to make and pay for a new Booking.com reservation. The location was also much worse than expected, with an uncomfortable and unsafe feeling, especially at night. Frankly, this apartment should be removed from Booking just like every single reviewer on Google mentions. Absolutely disaster location. Extremely poor handling of a serious booking error. We strongly recommend avoiding this property. HARD AVOID.
