Clean and quiet but did not get my upgrade…

Liked:It is clean. It is nice that i can open the window as the aircon has no air refresh system. Double glazing makes a quiet room.

Disliked:I was upgraded but got the smaller room, then checking out as i had another room for august 25-30 i am to stay in the small room. No upgrade, it is fine for one person. But not according to my booking. Other stuff is often the case in center city locations: sigarette smoke comes up in the ventilation system of the bathroom (also when i put it on). Sewage smell in the bathroom. Probably due to the historic origen or due to the plumbing. It is around 11,5m2 instead if the upgrade to 17m2… There is no space in the bathroom to hang my towel or put toilettries. The shower is half the normal size and i have already hit the shelf inside the shower with my elbow (in an attempt to wash my back)

Liked:Breakfast was great, it seemed like some of the rooms were in the process of being refurbished. Room 202 bathroom / shower was very small.Housekeeping staff could be a bit quieter in the early morning. Hotel is in a great location.

Disliked:nosy housekeeping in the early hours of the morning.
