Good location close to public transport, quiet room, but no gym

Liked:Location to Oriente bus and metro stations and Continente grocery store in Vasco da Gama mall. Quiet room with fridge, facing the Tagus river. Good size room and bathroom. Liked that only guests on same level could access my floor - good security measure. I was able to store my large suitcase on day of checkout in a secure room near reception until I collected later that day with exchange of ticket matching ticket on my bag.
Disliked:I need to keep my strength weight sessions up whilst on holidays. I booked Ibis particularly as it is a large chain (assuming it had an operational gym) but when I arrived, I noted gym no longer available, indefinitely. This was very disappointing.

Great location if you are doing events at FIL, terrible housekeeping service

Disliked:Housekeeping has to improve a lot. I stayed for 1 week, since day one i had a rotten apple in the room, dirty cutlery that were never replaced, empty bottles, trash was accumulating but nobody empty it, i actually had to put a pizza box and some other rubbish out of the room for them to take it cause they left it in the room for 2 days.. just terrible tbh

One night stay

Liked:I booked this hotel for one night only so that I can be close to the airport. As soon as I walked, I immediately got hit with a smell of what could only be described as eggs. Luckily, I was able to check in as soon as I got in, which was around 1 pm. I got to the room, and it smelled like bleach, which was a relief for me since I k ow that it was cleaned. The room was spacious enough for me, and it had all of the basics. There is a shower with shampoo/conditioner combo and shower gel. There is a closet with a safe, mini fridge and a TV with both local and international channels. If you're a vegetarian, you'll be fine. If you're vegan, you'll be stuff with the usual: bread, cereal, coffee, oatmeal, and non dairy options. No significant protien source. The area is not as lively as it is in the city center but the hotel is cheap and close to the Oriente station and the airport
