Reheated and reused breakfast. Appalling

Disliked:Breakfast. Bacon rock hard, had clearly been cooked and reheated several times. It was so hard it snapped in two when i used my hands. The mushrooms werr cleerly leftovers from the evening meal because theyd been cooked in a steak diane sauce, not somethng youd do for breakfast. Given there was only me in for breakfast, its not unreasonable to expect its cooked from scratch. At £13 it was extortionate for what you got and its quality. Extremely disappointing and was not even offered a full or even part refund for the breakfast. Im just pleased i didnt pay for an evening meal. The room was very dated, carpets worn, bathroom tiles had limescale on and badly grouted. On first impressions its location and exterior suggests quality, but that is far from the story internally.

Pleasant, good value.

Liked:Nice location, lovely village. Very convenient for us.

Disliked:The room and the bed was a little small. We didn’t like the cooked breakfast, it was a little dry and we couldn’t understand the fact baked beans were not offered which would have made all the difference.
