First Time in Vegas

Liked:Well let’s start by saying even though it was not the fanciest of hotels. And the elevators broke down a couple of times. I felt safe and the atmosphere was great. What truly made all the difference in the world is that our new friend Anthony (He knows who we are) was the highlight of our trip. My friends phone was stolen the very first day and he was such a great friend and was compassionate and caring as he really didn’t have to listen to our story. His kindness and humour lit up a room and we will be forever grateful for the experience. You don’t get this kind of service in the fancy hotels as rich people are too good to speak to you and connect. Anthony here to you!!!! A big shout out from your Canadian ladies!!!

Neglected

Liked:Unfortunately, this hotel has been neglected in many ways. The room itself needed some CLR for the shower head and some ScumBuster for the years-dirty tub (we waited to take our showers until we checked into the next hotel)! The sink was clogged, the shower gel/shampoo bottles had fallen off the wall and was just propped up on the shower shelf. Instead of advertised two chairs and table, it had just one chair so one of us had to eat while sitting on the bed. There is a lot of construction adjacent to the hotel, not really affecting anything except to provide a yukky view. Lastly, though smoke is allowed in the casino, it seemed pervasive even in the hallways, elevator and rooms (and yes, people were even smoking in the Steak 'n Shake restaurant inside the lobby). Overall, this place needs lots of attention.
