Great location and breakfast

Liked:The property is within walking distance of some beautiful beaches in the area and the nice boardwalk. No issue with parking as we parked our car in the hotel’s parking lot. We drove into town, but it is also doable on foot. What really stands out is the excellent breakfast, it is abundant and offers a great variety of options for every taste!

Disliked:One afternoon, we came back around 5 pm and the swimming pool at the new, fancy condo next door was blasting loud music until 6 p.m. I don’t know if this happens every afternoon, but it was ridiculously loud and very annoying.

Disappointing and overpriced

Liked:The only redeeming feature about this stay was its location, close to the beach

Disliked:This was not what I was expecting at all. It is not a traditional hotel. It is a set of apartment buildings located around Lagos, and each apartment block has a pool. There is a central hub where reception is located and breakfast is served. My apartment building was approximately 1km away from this central hotel area where reception and breakfast is located. This meant a long walk every morning to get breakfast. It also meant that if there was any problem with the room key, you are a long way away from reception. As a solo female traveller, I was looking for the security and reassurance of being in a hotel, mostly for safety reasons, and this set up did not provide that. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but given it wasn't located in the hotel area, it was like being in an expensive air bnb but without the bonus of any catering facilities. Only 1 bottle of water provided for the whole stay. Tea/coffee/creamer not topped up with housekeeping. All in all, i feel like i vastly overpaid for what I got.
