Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend!

Liked:Highly recommend this fantastic property! Very spacious and comfortable, huge bedrooms and living room with a lot of storage. The kitchen had all the basic essentials we needed for our stay. Secured parking was available onsite, and shops are just a short drive away. Loved the miniature golf, table football, and swimming pool. Hosts were very helpful and shared great advice on sightseeing etc. Will highly recommend this to anyone.

Liked:Anna was so lovely and accommodating, her family and the staff working there were so lovely too. Great location and very close to supermarket and the old town! Pool was lovely too, and everything was very clean!

Liked:As soon as you get in you feel like you’re in a private resort. It’s so different than everything around it and I’m really wondering how did they manage to get so much space for themselves. It was very clean, they have an option to clean every day if you want to. There’s a really big parking spot so no worries about that. The pool is a nice addition. You’re welcomed with a tour of the “resort” + the host will give you some tips for what to do in Lagos.

Disliked:I would say it’s a bit outdated but that can also add to the vibe

Liked:Our kids liked the pool. Worth the poorer conditions to make them happy with using the pool. Space for 5 was adequate. Comfort of beds was OK (6/10). It is an older place that needs some upkeep, but it was livable. The weather and temperature in the apartment were good. Fans were in every room and hanging rack provided. We were worried about no A/C in July, but this was not an issue. Weather cooperated, and there was no heat wave. Check-in and out were smooth. Grocery store 5 min walk away. The place is located at the top of the hill, so every excursion was uphill home. But all of Lagos is up and down. Walkable to beach, which was nice. Water is very cold, so it's not swimmable, just quick in and put. Beautiful scenery. WIFI everywhere was good.

Disliked:We were in apartment #19, do not accept this room! . The apartment was infested with ants . We were.a family of 5, our son slept on couch/bed in living area. He complained there were anrs in his bed. I thought it would be fine. The first night he woke up complaining that they were on his arms and switched to the other couch but same issue. I was sleeping in the room with a double bed. In the middle of the night, I also woke up with ants on my arms and neck. Obviously, I did not sleep well. We explained the issue to reception. They said housekeeping will clean the room. They came with ant spray. They seemed to know exactly where the problem was coming from. So this is not a new thing. Not sure why they put us in that apartment knowing this They sprayed under both matresses. 4 hours later, I came home for nap and again ants in the bed. Went to reception explained we would like to move rooms. They changed us to room #20 that evening. When we changed I felt like she thought we were making it up and just complaining. Her demeanor struck me the wrong way as we were just not comfortable sleeping with ants. Room 20 was better, but my son and the room with 2 single beds still had issues with ants, and they just dealt with it. We are a clean family, and no food was brought into the beds. The kitchen also had lots of ants. We cleaned up every time we ate and put all food in the fridge. Hot water was a hit and miss. Goes cold during shower but then will heat back up again.
