Liked:It was ok. It's a 10 minute walk from the bus and to the boat. I've been travelling in central America for 3 months this was my highest priced accommodation and the lowest quality by far.

Disliked:Paper thin walls, you can hear people breathing outside your room. The room was tiny and smelt of damp. One pillow was unusable. The fully equipped kitchenette consists of a microwave and a coffee machine. 9 30 AM checkout or pay another $5. Essentially accommodation in la Union knows you are only here for the boat, my advice would be to skip la union and pay for the shuttle bus to pick you up from somewhere nicer.

Liked:Great located in centre of La Union. Marta was a great host, let us leave our bags at the hostel overnight while we camped on the volcano and helped us with the local bus to Las Tunas. Her parrot was hilarious and the kitchen area was great. The AC in the rooms was also good.

Disliked:There's no hot water in the shower but its so hot this didnt matter to us. It was quite noisy at night with street noise
