Overall, the stay was disappointing and did not offer good value for money.

Liked:The view is breathtaking. That’s the only plus point that the hotel offers.

Disliked:The property is very poorly maintained and appears quite dated, with most of the facilities and furnishings looking old and worn out. Overall, the stay did not meet our expectations, and I would not recommend this property to others. Additionally, we had opted for the half-board package, but the food spread offered was extremely limited. This was quite disappointing and further affected our overall experience.

Wonderful stay in La Digue

Liked:Excellent location with amazing views of the sea. The beach is to just breathtaking. Clean rooms , bicycles to rent , hotel will organize transfer to and from the ferry port , not too far from the center, kind staff. Variety of food choices for breakfast.

Disliked:One restaurant in the property, food was not that great , yet very expensive. Seafood buffet was horrible , not fresh. Don’t forget to utilize the do not disturb sign , even if you leave your room for a second intending to go right back to the room , staff will try to clean, even if you are resting ( jet lag). If you can’t ride a bicycle to get around , transport is very expensive ( similar rates for a taxi and buggy).

great location, expensive for what it is

Liked:the beach near the hotel is very small but gorgeous as is the view from the pool area/observation deck.

Disliked:hotel needs renovation, room and bathroom were dated. definitely need more powerful lightbulbs on the patio area and the shower area. breakfast options very limited and bland.

I do not recommend! We were dissatisfied and disappointed by both the room we received and the services.

Liked:Good location, friendly staff. AC in the room.

Disliked:Bad services and bad room: We stayed for 9 days and we received a completely different room than what we saw in the pictures, which was old and needed a lot of repairs PLUS there was no actual wall between the room and the bathroom, so the view from the bed was “very romantic”, directly to the toilet (we put a sheet to have at least visual privacy). PLUS the room was right above the restaurant so during lunch and dinner when sitting on the balcony you could smell of food, not nice in that heat and no wind. We had to ask repeatedly for shower gel as we were getting one very small per person/day. There was always something missing from the room - either minibar was not refilled, or shampoo or shower gel not provided, or not enough towels, so we had to ask for stuff constantly. Overpriced: the place, at least for what we got, definitely overpriced and the quality super low. The morning buffet, was more or less the same every day, not very varied, very bad coffee. From the dinner buffet, there were usually good choices, but sometimes they served fixed menu which was not for us, no water or any drink included in the dinner buffet. Overall, for what we got, not worth the money as it ruined a bit our vacation. The hotel advertises high speed internet. Not true. The internet was super bad.
