Was perfect for a short stay and by the beach! But beware of parking! CRAMPED

Liked:Such a cute quaint place! Prior to booking we looked at reviews and everyone stated the rooms were super clean! I can say I totally agree. The outside was very rundown looking but to be expected as it’s an older building and everyone’s belongings are all over the place outside their areas. Photos online were accurate! For the price point and being right on the beach, as well as a last minute booking for us we were happy for the 2 nights we stayed. It was my husband and I, and our 3 year old. The room was very small but again to be expected for a last minute stay. They offered larger rooms but they weren’t available. It did say on the booking I choose either a double bed and twin or 2 double beds and I sent a request to have two double beds and received an email stating they could make that accommodation but when we got there it wasn’t accommodated and we got a double and a twin. I never said anything but honesty we were barely in the room so it wasn’t a big deal short term stay so it didn’t impact the rating.

Disliked:Only complaint would be the parking situation and thermostat. For the parking, Certain ones are reserved but from 31-37 it’s first come first serve… which is where we were. It was frustrating only because the lot is SO tight. But there’s just enough parking for each room if everyone parks in their spot directly outside their door and only has one vehicle. Any additional vehicles there are open spots to park on the other side (where we got stuck) I do wish those few rooms had their reserved parking where you just park by your room. It should be enforced like all the other parking was. We had to park on the opposite side of our room and was very annoying in general, but with a 3 year old on top of it being cramped was our biggest complaint. For the thermostat, it just wasn’t cold enough overall. When you get close it’s super cold, but overall by our beds it felt humid. We called front desk for help. She was super nice and sent help right away. I’m assuming they came in cause we stepped out, but it just wasn’t very cold. That could totally be an us issue though! We like it pretty cold, like 65.. We went to Target down the road and purchased a fan. Once we did that the thermostat situation for us was resolved.
