Lovely house in a great location.

Liked:Lovely, well decorated, spacious house only a 5 min walk from the seafront and lots of restaurants and bars. Hosts were excellent and very responsive to messages.

Disliked:Whilst the location was perfect for walking into town, the house is on the main road, so there is a lot of traffic noise.

Superb

Liked:The house was clean and great shower/ bath facilities. The communication from Rachel was very prompt and thorough, thanks! The location was very central as we were without a car. The house was overall great for access to margate and some beautiful surronding ateas around margate. The transport system is very nearby too.

Disliked:The only real problem was the damp smell in the basement( although once aired through it was okay) and some apparent damp in the basement area. But, it was overall a great 0lace.

Enjoyable short stay with young children

Liked:Good location short walk to sandy beaches , supermarket, Old Town and main town shops and cafes. Parking on site, small courtyard space, good WiFi. Property is old and has character. There were a few issues to do with being newly rented but host was responsive and dealt with them promptly. 10 minute walk to Dreamland, we all enjoyed time there.

Disliked:Property is on a busy roundabout, there is traffic noise as windows are originall and draughty , parking for two cars in front of house is sufficient but space is tight, reverse in or have someone stop traffic for you as house is on a blind corner. The house is old and is on 4 floors with steep, curved staircases so care needed with children.
