Liked:Great location, parking & shower.

Disliked:We were allocated room 72 - as a budget studio -when our booking just said studio. It was dark, dingy with shabby bathroom furniture, and a bathroom window which opened wide onto the path outside, rendering it insecure and lacking any privacy. The wardrobe was so small, it would not close when clothes were put in it! When we challenged the receptionist we were told we could pay an extra huge sum for an upgrade - and she just blamed us for booking through a third party! She admitted it was small. I don’t blame her - but the photo on our app was of a different room.

The White Morph is wonderful

Liked:The view from the room was absolutely superb - I think I booked a deluxe/premium room with sea and mountain views and it did not disappoint, was spectacular. Sitting on the balcony looking at that view or just watching the sunrise from bed each morning was a highlight of my trip to NZ. Staff (especially Sharon) were fantastic and really ensured a solo traveller a terrific stay with helpful suggestions for food etc (and organising the Pier Hotel's courtesy bus for me!) Location also great and the spa bath was a nice bonus. Will definitely be back to the White Morph.

Disliked:Can't fault anything.
