Dated… no longer premier accommodations

Liked:Disappointing and dated… not a place I would stay. Furniture appears the same as a decade ago…. No smart TVs…. Believe it or not they are still using DVDs… another example of the empty promises associated with Hilton timeshares … makes me angry

Overall nice hotel to stay at.

Liked:Pros- Rooms are spacious, clean and a/c Swimming pool is massive and beautiful koi ponds are fun to look at staff are friendly at front desk walking distance to stores great snorkeling right out in front of hotel price is reasonable for all you get here. cons- they don't have a restaurant that serves you outside anymore so you have to order at a counter.. They used to have an outdoor seating area and menus with great food.. they need to bring that back..Hire a waiter... - parking is for small cars only.. Don't bring your big suv...

Great property in an excellent location

Liked:We've been to this resort a few times now. It's in a great location - close to everything in the upper part of Maui. We were put in a unit with no view and no privacy this time around (right above the mini golf course), which wasn't good, but still enjoyed our stay here as we spent minimal time in the room.

Honest Review

Liked:Just spent a week here. Overall had a great stay. The resort is dated but less expensive than many other options. Our room was clean, large and comfortable. Big bathroom with great shower and tub. The doors in the suite had slats in them so light and sound went through them which wasn't our favorite. Parking spaces are very small and narrow and sometimes hard to find (usuall at night). While they do offer free use of washers and dryers, there are only one of each for an entire floor! I had to visit many floors to find open ones. The worst part was the Breakfast Buffet. It was included with our stay, but if we had changed to breakfast not included we could of saved money on the room. Even being "free", we often didn't eat it. The food quality was absolutely horrible.

Important Information

Please note that guests must be 21 years or older to check in. Daily resort charge will be charged at the time of check in and includes basic guest internet access; self-parking for one vehicle, barbecue equipment, PressReader access, activities including ping pong, video games, volleyball and mini-golf. The Ka'anapali Beach Club has experienced continuous severe erosion on both its northern and southern ends of the resort property due to El Nino, which caused coastal damage on the north and south-facing shorelines of Maui. We have been working with both state and county officials and coastal planners to try to find a solution to the erosion. We obtained a shoreline certification less than one year ago, and for jurisdictional purposes (i.e., permitting), it could potentially be used. Please note that renovation work of the rooms will be carried out from August 1, 2026, to December 19, 2026. Guests may experience some noise or light disturbances from 09:00 to 17:00 daily.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.
