Liked:The property is ideal for families looking for a resort experience within the city.

Disliked:As a couple traveling without children the family resort atmosphere wasn’t ideal for us. The requirements to reserve spa, sauna etc in advance limits the spontaneity of a relaxing vacation. The design of the restaurant’s offer no alternative that provides a more intimate environment for quiet conversation.

Oceana Atlântico Hotel & SPA is overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Liked:Oceana Atlântico Hotel & SPA is overall a very pleasant place to stay. The location is excellent, with the beach right in front of the hotel. The beachfront area is lovely and there are several restaurants nearby, which makes it very convenient and enjoyable, especially in the evenings. The breakfast is great, offering a good variety and quality options. The bedroom was very comfortable, and I had a good night’s sleep throughout my stay. The swimming pool area is nice, although it can feel quite crowded considering the size of the hotel. The rooftop bar is also a great feature with a nice atmosphere, but it only opens from Thursday onwards, which was a bit disappointing. Security is very strict, with multiple wristbands required for different services and stays. While this may enhance safety, it does feel slightly excessive. Overall, it is slightly expensive for what it offers, but still a good and comfortable stay in a fantastic beachfront location.
