A cute cozy gem in Jackson

Liked:This hotel kicked so much ass. We were traveling with a large sculpture that we were installing for a client and needed ample parking for our large trailer, which we were able to find all over! We had busy mornings, and their coffee in the lobby and the grab n go burritos at the drive thru window were great to get us to work quickly each morning. They have an amazing pool and a courtyard with tons of chairs to lounge in and a patio just outside the bar where I was able to find shade for me and my dog to get some emails tackled while enjoying a beer from their wide selection of local brews. The king room was super comfy, SO much room to get a quick morning workout/flow in and plenty of space for my dog to spread out. The shower had great pressure. The bed was comfy. Furniture/decor was modern and cute. Maybe I'm a sucker for a branded hotel, but damn The Virginian Lodge just did it right!

Disliked:They are very dog friendly, but maybe a little dog run at the back by the RVs where it could be fenced in and owners could throw the ball for their pups. Jackson in general seemed fairly dog friendly, yet we couldn't find many places to just let our bird dog roam. I'm sure it's there somewhere, we'll do better planning around this in the future!
