Liked:I really have mixed feelings about our stay here. On the bright side, you can’t beat the location right in front of the tram, and the staff at reception were polite and helpful whenever we talked to them.

Disliked:The bathroom in our room was ridiculously small. You could barely turn around in there without bumping into something. When we asked the front desk if we could switch to a room with a slightly larger bathroom, they told us that there were no larger bathrooms in the hotel. But over the next couple of days, we saw open doors to rooms on our own floor being cleaned that clearly had larger bathrooms, which was frustrating. Then there’s the breakfast, which was easily the most underwhelming breakfast I have ever eaten in Istanbul, let alone Türkiye. Nothing tasted or looked fresh. The "orange juice" was very clearly a powdered mix, the sliced deli meat had strange curled edges, the fruit tasted off, and the bread basket was a mix of soft bread and pieces that were rock-hard. Although I mentioned the breakfast issues to the front desk, I was told everything was prepared fresh daily, but what I saw with my own eyes day by day was definitely otherwise. To top it off, the breakfast staff’s behavior at the end of the buffet each day was something else. The exact second the clock hit the cutoff time, they swooped in like they were in an Olympic race to clear the buffet counters. One minute there was food, and the next it was completely empty. It truly felt like they were competing with themselves to see how much food they could remove at once and how fast they could do it. I've never seen anything like it. As a guest, it felt really unwelcoming.

Very pleasant stay in a centrally located hotel. Staff was attentive and professional.

Liked:The front desk staff were helpful, polite and very pleasant. They always make me feel welcome when I return to the hotel after a day out. Breakfast was good and plentiful; the food was well presented and very hygienic in the display. Housekeeping was very good and my room was clean everyday and left spotless.

Disliked:The wifi was unavailable for some hours a couple of times during my 9-day stay. When available, it had a strong signal and was very fast. There was some noise but the hotel is on a busy road so that is understandable.

Awful experience

Liked:Nothing I like honestly

Disliked:Hotel is old and filthy, room is tinny, air-con control is at reception you have to call to turn on/off & adjust temperature, we lived 5 days never change bed sheets and pillow cases and towels, noise all the time by neighbours the staffs won’t help you to address it, cleaning staff will wake you up before 8 AM by slamming the doors. Elevators maximum only 3 people allows you have to waiting for ages for them, breakfast included however same food every single day tasteless, heaps of salads. Lastly the bed cover is towel like stuff first time see it in my life. Staffs are have limited English be prepared for that, they may not understand what your saying.
