Great hotel and perfect location!

Liked:Before booking this hotel I had read reviews about rooms in the basement, so when I booked I made a note to the hotel requesting no room in the basement and to provide one on upper levels. Upon arrival at night we was given a room in the basement! When I asked for an alternative I was told nothing is available. Spent the night in the basement but it wasn't for me! I work full time in the basement so coming on holiday I would like a window to look out and get some air and natural light! The room itself was fine, nice and clean. After breakfast the next morning (which is the pretty much the same everyday but its nice) I asked the receptionist if we could upgrade he agreed for an additional fee and said after a day a room on the 4th floor will be available. So we shifted and this room was much better! Overall the hotel is nice, the 2young boys on reception I often come across were really friendly and helpful. Housekeeping cleaned the room everyday and provided fresh towels and water bottles, she was a sweet lady! There is also a safe in the room. We asked for an iron and were given this straight away. The grand bazar, blue mosque, the tram are all walking distance from the hotel. there are loads of shops and restaurants close by. I stayed here for 7 days and would recommend if your visiting.

Disliked:You have to carry luggage up and down the stairs as soon as you enter the hotel. The staff will always come and help so its ok. There isn't a slanted slope which should be considered. When booking Economy rooms it should be made clear that rooms are located in the basement. Breakfast was nice, but maybe consider more options.

Liked:It was very comfortable neat and clean. Had a kettle with cups and complimentary sachets of coffee and tea. Breakfast included and was tssty fresh fruit yoghurt....and lots more.
