Liked:Location for diving was awesome. Easy to come back to room and grab lunch between dives.

Disliked:Water pressure was awful. Room was a little tight. TV reception/service was lacking, only watched TV late evening/ noise to sleep. Put clean room sign out and came back late evening (6:30) and room hadn't been touched. Apparently, you have to inform front desk staff if want room serviced.

Mom and Pop motel with small town vibe

Liked:OK so the real truth. It is not a fancy perfect place, it is an older more of a mom and pop place to relax and lay your head if you are doing stuff in the area. The overall motel has that "lived in" feel. It was clean, AC worked beautiful and in the July heat that was a big win. Does it need some TLC yes, but did it take away from the stay NO. If you are that picky, yes stay someplace else. There were NO bugs, clean sheets (one little spot had a stain in the corner but just a stain not dirt) and clean floors and counters. We stayed in room 114 and furniture was "older" but clean drawer to put my clothes in. Yes water pressure is on the low side BUT it works and there was hot water. We had a medium full-sized fridge which was a great surprise as we usually get those small little ones but not sure about the other rooms. We were right above the Lobby, near the front pool and facing A1A, with minor construction and we had NO problem sleeping. I took a stroll along the creek each morning with my coffee and it was so peaceful. You can walk along the backside all the way to the end were they launch the kayaks for Paddle the Flordia Keys, which we did and was amazing. If you are still reading awesome! Eduardo and Jaz made sure if we needed anything it was there quickly, friendly and will a smile. We did not have our room serviced each day because it was a short stay but I am sure they would have done a great job. We tend to use motels as a "glam camping" experience. The photos on the website are real BUT not as updated as they probably should be. Our room had updated floors to those nice vinyl wood looking. There were places to eat within walking distance or just a 5-10min ride. We were there to do a dive with Capt Slate. If you plan to dive, look for special deals for a combo dive and stay thing :). Nothing at the hotel but plenty of places near by.... not a big city feel, small town vibe so it was great. Be careful about negative posts. If you want the fancy brand new furniture with all the fixings then move on. If you are not too picky and don't mind some wear and tear then this is a good value (we paid 100/night) for the keys.
