Clean room beware NO hot breakfast offered

Liked:I selected this hotel because I had early meetings all week and wanted a good hot breakfast to start the day!! But turns out there’s NO hot breakfast even though this is still advertised in the website, that’s not right and needs to be fixed. Shuttle to airport only operates once per hour often meaning one has to leave 2 hours earlier for a flight!!! Not good

Roaches in Room, No Room Change Offered, and No Management Response”

Liked:I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites Irving Las Colinas DFW while attending my niece graduation, April 22-25 and the experience was unacceptable. During our stay, we encountered multiple roaches—one in the bathroom shower and two inside the room itself. I reported this to the front desk more than once and took pictures as proof. I was also informed by the front desk attendant that other guests had complained about roaches as well, which makes it clear this was not an isolated incident. Despite this, no meaningful action was taken, and I was not offered a room change, which should have been the bare minimum given the circumstances. In addition to the pest issue, the blinds in the room were broken. I was told that maintenance was not on site on Wednesday; however, no one followed up or attempted to fix the issue at any point from Thursday through Saturday. This lack of follow-through further reflects poor service and attention to basic guest needs. At checkout, I requested a partial refund due to the conditions. I was told a manager would follow up, but I never received a call, apology, or any resolution. The explanation given—that the hotel had recently been treated and that weather conditions were causing roaches to come inside—only made the situation more concerning, especially if they could get into our belongings. Being on the first floor with luggage on the floor added to the discomfort. Cleanliness and basic guest care are non-negotiable. The presence of roaches, acknowledgment of similar complaints from other guests, broken room fixtures, lack of responsiveness, and failure to offer even a room change reflects poorly on management and overall guest service standards. I would strongly encourage others to reconsider staying here until these issues are properly addressed. I am still expecting follow-up from management regarding a refund or appropriate resolution.
