Rude Manager and Dishonest Handling of Reservation Dispute

Disliked:The owner/manager of the property, Tony, was extremely rude, unprofessional, and showed no sense of customer service. In our case, when we tried to resolve a dispute and cancel a reservation, he deliberately avoided responding to Booking.com’s calls and emails so that no resolution could be reached and we would lose our money. We had booked this property for a friend’s 30th birthday celebration. The listing clearly stated that the villa could accommodate up to 6 people, and we were only 5 guests. However, after the reservation was confirmed, the booking unexpectedly changed the capacity to only 3 people the day before our arrival. Concerned that not everyone would have a place to stay, I tried contacting the property through Booking.com messages but never received any reply. To avoid issues, I ended up booking an additional room for 2 people. When we arrived and visited the villa, it was obvious that the space was more than sufficient for all 5 of us, making the extra room unnecessary. We explained the situation calmly to Tony and asked him to approve the cancellation of the second reservation once Booking.com contacted him. He verbally agreed in person. However, when Booking.com later tried reaching him for written confirmation, he suddenly claimed he was not receiving their calls or emails. This was clearly untrue because we called him ourselves on the exact same number and he answered immediately. As a result, no agreement could be reached between Booking.com and the property. Spending over 2 hours dealing with this dispute upon arrival completely ruined the start of our vacation. Instead of trying to help or handle the situation professionally, Tony was rude throughout the interaction and seemed more focused on forcing me to apologize than resolving the issue. This is the hospitality industry. Customers should be treated with basic respect and decency. Unfortunately, this property failed completely in that regard.

Beautiful place with a central location

Liked:Really nice place to relax and wind down, very peaceful and with a central location close to everything. Breakfast was really nice in the morning. Owners are really nice as well and let me do a late check out :) thank you

Not sure I would go back.

Liked:Good location for ibiza town and santa gertrudis-
Disliked:Bedroom was small and dark and right onto the reception area, which was noisy throughout the night. On arrival we found the toilet had an unwelcome and revolting surprise in it when we arrived. No one had bothered to flush the loo when they were cleaning it after last guest. Very small bathroom towels, no bathrobe. Horrible pillow (one long one to share between two) and luke warm water to shower in. Lots of wasps by pool area.
