if you want a resort you will be upset

Liked:I am struggling with this review as it is lovely, really lovely. Good points. Rooms are lovely, big, comfortable and look stylish. They are fully equipped with washing machine, drier and dishwasher. Massive TV with full cable in both bedrooms and lounge. Location. It is on Hilton Head Island, super beautiful location. It is a 2 minute walk from reception to the ocean. The beach is stunning and 12 miles long. Pools. There are 2 pools. One heated and family orientated the other not heated an more adult Not so good points This is not a RESORT. it is a condo/hotel. The pool bar and grill is small with no atmosphere or customers, maybe price is a issue. There is no where else to get food. Unless you want to eat in a naff bar where most seem to bring take our to eat. The rooms look stylish but they are actually quite cheap. Utensils for cooking are limited and poor quality. A room that sleep 6 has a frying pan that can only hold 3 eggs. We secured a great price for this 'resort' so I am super happy.. however if I had paid full price I would be so angry. It is not a resort, it is a hilton managed condo block with zero atmosphere

Liked:Hilton head Island in the month of April is an amazing place and Ocean Oaks Hilton grand vacation club is a perfect place to spend the month. Located right on the beach with two beautiful pools and friendly authentic professional customer service makes this a great place to return every year.

Wonderful family stay, highly recommend, will return.

Liked:We spent a week here and had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a full set of guests on site and yet it was quiet and restful. The beach access is fantastic. We used one of the two pools on site, and it was a great spot for our kids. One afternoon there was a talk by a local turtle rescue volunteer that was great and educational. There were also daily aerobics or yoga classes at the pool or beach. The location is walkable to restaurants, shopping, and groceries. Bikes are handy as the trails are an easy way to get around. Parking was a bit limited but I was able to find space for my truck at check-in. Smaller cars would have more options. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We look forward to another visit.
