–No pool and limited amenities
–High pet fee and reports of extra refundable deposit / bottled water charges
–Occasional denied stays / restrictive local policies reported

Cleanliness9.8

Multiple reviews repeatedly call the property 'very clean', 'neat and clean', and 'clean facility'; cleanliness is a clear strength.

Service9.4

Staff repeatedly described as polite, welcoming and accommodating (front desk praised, named staff 'Sherri' cited); service is consistently positive.

Location9.6

Several reviewers cite excellent, convenient location (close to I-81, JMU, Walmart, restaurants and highway access); location is a major positive.

Room Quality7.4

Mixed to negative comments: comfortable beds but issues noted (pillows too soft/too large, bed height, no drawers/closet, poor lighting, jammed shade, peeling wallpaper, loud A/C/elevator); room quality is uneven.

Amenities7.4

Basic complimentary toiletries provided and blackout shades praised, but guests reported no pool, some extra deposit/bottled-water charges and limited in-room storage; amenities are adequate but limited.

Value for Money8.0

Many guests note 'great price' or 'good price' for a newer/hip property, though a few cite high pet fees and an extra refundable deposit as negatives; overall value leans positive.

Food and Beverage6.8

Breakfast repeatedly criticized (tasteless eggs, mediocre sausage/pancakes, bitter coffee) though a few guests said the breakfast was 'good' or 'okay'; F&B is the weakest operational area.

Liked:Excellent location for access and great for my Friday pickleball tournament at Massanutten. Loved the pancake machine! Much better than waffle makers.

Disliked:Earlier check in time.

Great hotel for the price. I will be staying in Tru hotels on future trips.

Liked:The location was good, just off I-81 and next to a restaurant. I liked the layout of the room and especially liked the layout of the bathroom. The products were great.

Disliked:I had your hot breakfast, mini cheese omelet and meat (not sure what kind). The omelet was dry and barely warm. The meat was tasty but also barely warm. I did have a muffin which was good.
