Birthday Brunch at the Old Salt

Liked:Just a quick review to say how pleased I was with our private birthday brunch March 21 2026. The event planner George H was friendly, professional, accommodating and very helpful. Our waitress was flawless in her assisting our 50 guest buffet. The crisp table cloths, napkins, ceramic dishes , and our clean , quiet , private room all added to this lovely classy experience. The room booking was for 3 hrs ( vs 2 in a lot of similar venues) mThe price, food , and ambience were wonderful. Plus there was plenty of free parking. I highly recommend the Old Salt.

A cozy special restaurant

Liked:Great atmosphere. The big fireplace was lit making everything cozy. Chloe our waitress was so much fun!! She was attentive and quick to help. She helped make our visit so memorable. The food was delicious! We will be back!

Freaky friday but I’m alive

Liked:Let’s just say it was strange. Front checking in and he told some weird thing about the key to my door because they don’t have electronic keys. I get it. Love that. But the guy made it like I was going to die in my room. I had a weird feeling immediately entering the building and I’m an empath but don’t feel like that usually. The place is goods bumps on crack

Lamies Inn was the perfect road trip overnight stop-over

Liked:We stayed at Lamie's Inn on our road trip through New England. We got a warm welcome on arrival and the rooms were very comfortable. The room furniture & decor fits the image of the hotel, so they were not ultra-modern but very clean and reasonably spacious compared to many of the places that we'd stayed. We ate at the Old Salt Restaurant, which is within the hotel, and the food was so plentiful several of our group couldn't finish their meals. A continental breakfast was served in the cosy bar area with fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts and a selection of home-made pastries/cakes, which I was told were baked fresh and change daily Needless to say we were very happy with our stay.
