Great location and plenty of interest for a 4 day break.

Liked:Great location. Close to waterside board walk and many good restaurants and coffee/ breakfast bars. Comfortable and well run boutique hotel.

Nice hotel in a great location

Liked:This is a lovely property in a fantastic location! The staff is really kind and helpful. The room was very clean and felt like staying in a nice Canadian home. And the beds and pillows were very comfortable! Although I had some issues (see below), I would happily recommend this hotel to others.

Disliked:I had a few small issues, but these are personal and may be fine for others. The biggest issue is that there is central heating and central cooling which cannot be individually controlled in the rooms. This meant that there were several evenings when it was absolutely frigid in my room - we're talking sweaters and tights under the covers and still freezing. This was unpleasant, to say the least. Another smaller issue was that we are constantly kicked off the internet and have to sign back in - if you don't pay attention, you can run out of data very quickly. Finally, the blinds in the room were not really enough for me, meaning it was quite bright quite early.

Liked:This beautifully historic property maintains the elegance of a lovely old home, with a library in the lobby that hosts afternoon/evening drinks and nibbles. Each room is decorated uniquely and the quiet garden oasis tucked away in the back of the hotel provides a peaceful place to sit and relax. The location to the waterfront and restaurants was excellent.

Disliked:The parking is very limited and can be challenging to navigate if full.
