Liked:It felt quite welcoming to stay in a clean, safe, house. Water, tea and coffee were available on the landing. Breakfast was included. The owner was kind and accommodating. The bathroom was very spacious.

Disliked:The room we were in was a bit awkward given that we had just arrived from Europe with huge suitcases. Although it was only the end of May the room was quite warm. I think there was aircon but it did not seem to be turned on yet. Although one could walk into town, the house is in the suburbs, so it was about a 15/20 minute walk, but, along a busy road. Meaning, is preferable to have a car or use Uber if you stay here.

Wonderful bed and breakfast with a thoughtful host

Liked:The Norfolk House is a wonderful place. Janet is a fantastic host, and our stay as a family of 4 in the penthouse suite for 4 nights was perfect. The location is great, an easy walk into town. The room was tasteful, bright, cool, and very comfortable. The balcony was a great place to read and relax. Water stations provide glasses and various items you can borrow for your room. Janet prepares a delicious breakfast each morning, takes the time to get to know you, and provides great information about the area. We'd stay there again in a second. By the time we left it felt like departing from a friend's house which says a lot.

Disliked:It was perfect, there was really nothing that we didn't like. We'd stay again anytime.
