Nice stay, close to parks, suited to young families

Liked:Good location to visit park.

Disliked:It’s a nice hotel but clearly family focussed. Lots of children so don’t book if looking for quiet or romantic stay. Main issue for us was the room not being cleaned by 5pm. We would go to parks at 6am returning after 3pm each day shattered to find room not serviced. Had to request priority servicing which sorted the problem after 3 days. They clearly don’t have enough cleaning staff or start the daily process too late. Also objected to paying for milk for tea or coffeee on room. Should be complementary given the room charge.

Overpriced, but good location and good quality.

Liked:Location is fairly convenient on 120 west entrance, although it's still 25 winding miles to the valley and with heavy traffic and seasonal road repairs and tree work it can take well over an hour. Rooms are very nicely appointed and clean, although there's likely a hike up a hill with your luggage, and no elevators. Not much parking convenient to each room. Very expensive, probably 25-30% overpriced, which probably explains why there were vacancies in the height of tourist season.
