Our stay was a wonderful experience.

Liked:The hosts were extremely friendly and their hospitality was outstanding. We felt like one of the family as soon as we arrived! The amenities were great and the rooms were quiet. It's close to the town of Groveland, which is very convenient. Their breakfast was delicious ~ even their decaf coffee was wonderful! We will definitely recommend this B&B to all our friends. The added bonus was their sweet lab, Chance, who was very friendly and inviting as well.

It was relaxing, cozy, peaceful, and beautiful.

Liked:Exceptional service in terms of staff, accomodating late check-in and check-out times, access to home-cooked breakfast (often after hours due to late night stargazing). Quiet, well kept property - inside and outside. Spacious rooms. Access to room cleaning, fresh towels, and even lake/beach towels daily. Ran into no issues at all during the stay. I would definitely return, and I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to stay outside of Yosemite and don't mind driving in and out of the park. It is basically minutes away from Stanislaus, which is even closer. Side note: Such beautiful spots to take pictures outside on the wrap-around porch. The bed was comfy. The shower was standard size, which is also sometimes hard to come by when staying in national park types of places. There were plenty of cabinets for storage in the bathroom in the vanity which is helpful when staying for longer (especially for the ladies who have a lot of belongings). Additional cabinets in the main room. Access to a variety of lamps/lighting and ceiling fan. Access to heating when temperature drops. Access to community fridge outside of room to store some essentials or leftovers. Drip coffee availabile daily. There are a lot of perks that seem like bare minimum things but when consistently available, feel like true amenities.

Disliked:The hot water is a little tricky.

Beautiful place.The owners treated us like family.Highly recommended

Liked:Berkshire Inn was situated around a 30 minute drive from Yosemite,ideal for our trip. It was a very picturesque inn.Chris and Brittany were warm welcoming hosts who kept the place immaculate and made delicious breakfasts. We had an adjoining lounge area to relax in and balcony looking out on the mountain. We would highly recommend Berkshire Inn as a friendly and relaxing haven to stay in.
