A remote, but close to Greve of Chianti, getaway with picturesque views and peaceful surroundings!

Liked:Valentina was an excellent host!! The views going to and at La Rimbecca were incredible! Breakfast was the BEST we had while in Italy for 10 days. A quiet, out of the busy norm of the cities in Italy!

Disliked:We only stayed 1 night while driving through Tuscany, should have stayed longer!

Liked:The stay was overall pleasant, and everything else was perfectly fine. The property is beautiful and the room was comfortable. Unfortunately, our arrival was not a very welcoming experience. We were simply very hungry and tired after the journey, and when we asked the man at reception (the owner I guess) whether they also served food, instead of simply explaining that there was no restaurant, he responded in a rather argumentative and dismissive way, saying that we had not come to a restaurant but to sleep. He then raised his voice at us and accused us of already being dissatisfied with the property, claiming that he could see it on our faces from the moment we walked through the door. This was simply not true. We were tired and hungry, nothing more. We had no negative feelings about the property at all. Rather than simply answering our question, he seemed determined to "rimbeccare" us and argue with us. A more welcoming and understanding attitude would have made a much better first impression. The breakfast was ok with and the lady serving it was genuinely kind and welcoming. Her warm and friendly attitude was a lovely contrast to our experience at reception.... Apart from this unpleasant interaction at arrival, everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Liked:Such a beautiful place to stay. Gorgeous view. Lovely room and pool. The breakfast was superb.

Disliked:Communication was a little lacking. Such as where to park to drop your luggage.,

Exactly the retreat we needed.

Liked:The views and walks were exceptional and pool was perfect. The breakfasts were delicious, and the pizza delivery from a near by town combined with the view made for an extraordinary experience.
