Alentejo experience at its best!

Liked:Tranquil and a real working farm, and David, the farmer, is so welcoming. Monte das Fais is a heaven of relaxation. The food here is excellent. You need to book for dinner- a four course meal showcasing the best of Alentejo food. Wonderful desserts made by Maria.

Disliked:It is a little bit out from Grandola, a 10 minute drive, but that is not long

Liked:Owner was extremely social and very welcoming. Breakfast was good.

Disliked:My review probably would be better if weather had cooperated. A lot of rain and ground water denied the ability to enjoy the property.

Disliked:Be careful, call before you go there, after I paid and by the time I arrived the hotel was closed, which led to some disputes.
