Highlights

+Balcony suite with sensational pyramids view
+Rooftop with great views

Could Improve

–Staff unhelpful or rude; poor handling of problems
–Some rooms' views do not match advertised photos
–Bad odor in corridors
–Very slow and unstable Wi‑Fi
–Construction noise during day (and reported at night)
–Disappointing breakfast (limited choices, no coffee machine, items empty/cold)

Cleanliness9.4

Some guests report bad odors in corridors and non-airconditioned hallways, but no major reports of dirt or stains; overall minor cleanliness concerns.

Service9.0

Multiple reviews mention unhelpful or rude staff and poor handling of issues (including no check-in after an earthquake), so service is slightly downgraded despite some standard interactions.

Location10.0

Balcony suites and the rooftop offer sensational views of the pyramids; location/view is a clear highlight when booking the correct room type.

Room Quality10.0

Suites with balcony are praised for spectacular views; however some guests noted that selected rooms did not match advertised photos — overall the balcony suites themselves are excellent.

Amenities9.7

Rooftop is a strong amenity, but several guests report very slow/unstable Wi‑Fi and lack of a coffee machine at breakfast, so amenities are slightly affected.

Value for Money9.6

Standard quality for this hotel tier.

Food and Beverage9.4

Breakfast is frequently described as disappointing (limited choices, repeated items, no coffee machine, items empty or cold after 10:00), so a modest downgrade is applied.

Overall Experience9.7

Mixed experiences: spectacular views and rooftop praised by some, but others experienced misleading room photos, noise from nearby works, poor Wi‑Fi and unsatisfactory staff responses, yielding an overall slight negative impact.

What a scenic and comforting stay!

Liked:The interior style, the rooftop restaurant and the room that we booked was brilliant in my opinion. However, I was sure that I had booked a room with a pyramid view and assumed we would have a hot tub in the room, but apart from that, I would absolutely return. Thanks to the staff at Great Pyramid inn!

Disliked:I would also be slightly alert when leaving the hotel by yourself as you’ll have local vendors hassling you to purchase products.

Stay with excellent view of pyramids.

Liked:Definitely the view of the pyramids.

Disliked:The sliding door in the room to the balcony was very difficult to open, meaning not easy to enjoy the view. There was super loud music in the rooftop restaurant during dinner time. We were made to understand that people came for the music but it was unfair to those who didn’t like it. Also, it made it difficult to hear each other, which meant our order was a little messed up.
