Liked:The property met all our expectations and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a peaceful time on a rather lively and party-oriented island. Its location allows guests to easily enjoy the island’s restaurants and bars while still maintaining peace and tranquility within the resort. The cottages are spaced in a way that ensures privacy. There is a very large and pleasant swimming pool, as well as comfortable sun loungers on the beach. The property also has its own beachfront bar and restaurant, allowing guests to spend the entire day there in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The breakfast was generous and delicious. We also tried other meals at the restaurant, and everything we ate was very tasty. A huge advantage of this property is its size and spacious layout. Even when there are many guests, you hardly notice other people around, and there are always enough sun loungers and umbrellas available both by the pool and on the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They prepared an early breakfast for us due to our early check-out, which we greatly appreciated. After exploring the island, we can confidently say that this is one of the few hotels that offers such spaciousness and an authentic island atmosphere without unnecessary modern additions, crowds, and noise. For us, a particularly big advantage was the absence of music at the pool and on the beach, allowing us to truly enjoy the sounds of nature.

Disliked:The cottages are very charming and atmospheric. However, more attention should be paid to cleanliness and tidiness inside them. We noticed dusty furniture and traces of previous battles with mosquitoes on the curtains.

Beautiful surroundings, wonderful people and a truly relaxing experience.

Liked:Everything exceeded expectations. The location is beautiful, peaceful and perfectly maintained. The rooms were comfortable, spotless and surrounded by nature, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. What stood out the most was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive and always willing to help with a smile. The entire property feels authentic, tranquil and incredibly well cared for. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gili Trawangan.

Disliked:Honestly, very little. If I had to mention something, it would only be that leaving was the hardest part. The experience was wonderful from start to finish.

Glorious old style charm in perfect location.

Liked:Best play to stay on the island. Beautiful gardens and Java style bungalows. Breakfast on the beach spotting turtles. Excellent staff and services. Rooms, pool and grounds cleaned daily. Bike rental on site. Sunset and cocktails. Coral reef straight out front. Everything is perfect.

Disliked:The only thing I want them to change is the use of plastic straws.
