Liked:The guys are great at helping you get boat tickets or anything else you want to do on the island incling bike rentals there. Breakfast was great and the outdoor bathroom was very clean and new looking. The room had a few bigs but that is expected after a heavy rain and on an island. I only wish I had more time to stay longer! Thank you so much for the hospitality 💗🙏

Liked:As you’ll have seen from the other reviews, this really is a great place to stay. It’s a new build, so clean and modern. Really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom. The staff were exceptional. Super friendly and helpful. I was travelling alone and felt perfectly safe. Would stay again for sure. I will flag that it’s not a quiet place to stay. There’s a lot of noise from the surrounding wildlife. More of a glamping feel, which suited me fine. Imagine wildlife noise would be an issue everywhere. Zero nightlife noise though! Perfectly peaceful IMO.

Liked:Casa Kapuas has spacious, clean rooms with blackout curtains and comfortable beds. The outdoor hammocks are very relaxing, the shower offers warm water, the private bathroom offered good privacy. The WiFi is strong enough for video calls and remote work. The location is quite compared to many other places on the island so you can sleep much easier. You can walk to the shore in 10 minutes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
