Liked:David was a wonderful host and made us feel very much at home. It's definitely a place where you'd want to spend more time at the lodge itself than doing things elsewhere. The bar and entertainment area is amazing and "Stokkies" tge steenbok graced us with her presence. David also has a beautiful lodge dog who welcomes you with open paws. All in all, it was an amazing stay and a great breakfast(my son adored tge bacon). Just wished we spent a su.mer day or two enjoying the lodge pool, bar and entertainment area.

Disliked:Not much I can say in this section. Everything was amazing. I would recommend some firefighters for the fireplace. Had a "Boer Maak n Plan" moment but eventually got it going for the family. It was honestly one of the best places I've stayed at (had an AMAZING shower), and I would recommend this place to everyone.

Liked:Breakfast was good, and David was very helpful with our booking and arranging for late check-out. Inside the property it does not feel like you are in the city.

Disliked:Please consider replacing the cooking pot and pan - they are not in great condition. Neighbours were noisy with loud music at 1 in the morning, which was very disturbing, but there was nothing that Ikamu's lodge could do about this.
