The harbour side of Genova

Liked:The apartment was lovely! It was light, spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The electric shutters were good too. The lady who checked us in (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was absolutely wonderful! She met us outside when we arrived, showed us to our apartment and made sure we had everything. We messaged via WhatsApp too which was also very helpful, and she sent us a list of food/restaurant recommendations. Our 3 year old particularly loved the bidet and used it as her sink during our stay.

Disliked:The building was a bit tricky to find at first, and if our lovely host hadn't come to meet us outside I don't think we would have ever found it! Outside isn't particularly nice to look at, and the street smelt of smoke and urine. The apartment was also a bit warm - the AC set up is designed to maintain a certain temperature, but it wasn't cool enough for me.

Disliked:The property was in lack of facilities, e.g.: salt, laundry detergent, knife.. Though the location is good, the area of a flat did not feel safe - it was unclean surrounded with lots of addicted people.. The staff did not presented the information & recommendations that was promissed at the moment of arrival.

Disliked:It took us over an hour to find the premises. Very poor signage and street signs that don’t match the map.
