Unbelievably disgusting and disappointing.

Liked:-It's location is good, it was near Aubainerie which is currently on extra 50% off on the items on sale. -The linens where soft. -I appreciate that Kevin was understanding and gave us a little more time in the game room a d also helped us with our keycard problems.

Disliked:A lot. (Check the attached photos) 1. Even before I arrived at the hotel, I was already frustrated because it was a nightmare to call them. No one picks up the phone, and when you leavea message, it's as if you talked to the wall. No one will ever call you back. Also, when you ask them the difference between their rooms, they cannot give you any proper explanation. It's as if they don't know it themselves either. 2. It was horribly disgusting when we opened the room assigned to us. The filth from the previous client was all still there. We called ahead of time and still everything was a mess. (Checked the attached photos). I felt like throwing up. So we were given another room which was smaller than what we were supposed to have and still paid the same price. It felt dirty still. A lot of dust and not really clean. They did not tell us that it's a down-graded room, but it felt like that. 3. You need to do everything by yourself. It's the first time I encountered a hotel that doesn't answer your needs. First, it's as if the receptionist never picks up the phone, and when he does, he will tell you to go get what you need, yourself. I asked for the cutleries and he told me it's not part of their stocks and I need to go get it myself to the restaurant inside the hotel which is just beside him. Maybe it's not his fault. Maybe it's lack of crew, but still, it's not worth your money if your goal is to relax. I find everything disgusting and unbelievably horrible. 4. The coffee holder of the coffee maker was also disgusting. I don't drink coffee so I needed to make sure it's clean because I needed hot water and I needed to put it empty so I could have my hot water. I just tried to find my own way because I was tired of manually going back and forth to the reception area to get what I needed. 5. One time, I asked for a cup of cold milk from the receptionist, for my son, I told him we don't drink coffee.

A cozy and relaxing overnight stay with a great spa and friendly staff.

Liked:Great one night stay at Hotel V. The hot tub was the highlight, so relaxing after a long day. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Perfect spot for a quick getaway in Gatineau.

Disliked:Nothing really. It was only one night but everything we needed was there and the experience was smooth from check in to check out.
