Cheer Competition Visit

Liked:We were in Frisco for a large cheerleading competition and stayed at the Omni for location to the venue. Upon check-in I was greeted by Cesar who made me feel so welcome and special. He gave me one on one attention like I was the only guest there. Bismark helped us with our bags and was such a delight to be around. The Omni did an incredible job keeping the lobby clean and not congested by allowing only hotel guests into the lobby. I had a small situation that came up where I was needing some items from the store and Cesar told me they had the items on hand in the hotel and took care of me. The Omni allowed me to pay a small fee for late check-out at 3pm which was perfect since we competed late in the day. Upon check-out Bismark once again took care of us and our bags. The staff here was fantastic and Cesar went above and beyond and checked in on me every time he saw me around the property! Looking forward to my next visit!

Sub par… in so many ways.

Liked:I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star. We paid a premium price expecting a higher level of service, but it was one issue after another from the moment we arrived. Upon arrival, we used valet, but there were no luggage carts available. Meanwhile, several valet/bell staff were standing around and no one offered assistance—even after we mentioned the lack of carts. We ended up carrying everything ourselves. When we entered the room, there was already a used Q-tip on the floor in the entryway, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. The room itself was also disappointing. The so-called “deluxe” room felt cramped, the shower was small, and the water pressure was extremely weak—definitely not what you expect at this price point. The checkout experience was the worst part. Housekeeping knocked on our door almost an hour before checkout telling us it was “time to check out,” which felt incredibly rude and rushed—like we were being pushed out of a room we paid a premium for. On top of that, we were told we couldn’t use a luggage cart unless we were “on a list.” Moments later, someone else walked right behind us, took a cart without any issue, and when we asked him about the “list,” he had no idea what we were talking about—and no one stopped him. Overall, the service was inconsistent, unprofessional, and far below expectations. This was a huge waste of money, and I would not stay here again.
