Charming place with a nice ambience, but obnoxious noise from offsite and marginal shower

Liked:Breakfast was fine, but could have started earlier. The noise at night from the nearby car museum was obnoxious and very loud. It was hard to enjoy yourself outside because of it and we could even hear it well inside our place very sad because it’s a charming place, but it needs an upgrade. The shower situation was not acceptable. The staff, however, was fabulous and the place has a lot of charm.

10-15 minutes on foot from the Iguazu national park entry

Liked:We stayed at the hotel/lodge for one night. It was located in a beautiful green area close to the airport and the NP entrance. (max. 10-15 minutes on foot) The hotel consisted of different small lodges/apartments. The restaurant offers breakfast and dinner options only. We arrived before noon at the lodge after a very early morning flight. We only ate a snack when we arrived at Foz Airport expecting to eat lunch at the lodge.

Disliked:Despite the fact that check in was at 3:00pm our room was not ready before 4:00pm even though we were the only ones waiting for a room. A long wait while it was raining and without a car.. Some of the amenities like toiletries, hairdryer, and clothing rack were missing although mentioned on the booking.com website.
