Overall I liked celebrating my son’s birthday weekend at the Atlantic.

Liked:I celebrated my son’s birthday last year and loved the idea of celebrating again because last year our room was amazing (except the faucet in the hot tub that was broken). I do love the hotel itself, the rooms are comfortable and the proximity to the beach.

Disliked:Our room felt smaller than last year. The toilet had problems and the refrigerator was leaking.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms.

Liked:We liked our spacious oceanfront room (well, oceanfront in this area of Fort Lauderdale means across the street from the ocean, but you do get a full-on ocean view). The A/C wasn't working in our room on arrival, but it was fixed shortly after we called it in. Water pressure in bathroom is nice and strong. With glass doors closed, it's very quiet in the room, Doors open and no street traffic, you can hear the waves rolling to shore.

Disliked:A couple of the fitness center machines could use some repair, and half-size dumbbells would be helpful. The restaurant downstairs could use some healthier offerings.
