Very disappointing. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Liked:Unfortunately, we could not find anything that met our expectations during our stay.

Disliked:This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The room was not clean and had a very strong unpleasant smell. We informed the staff, but nothing was done to solve the problem. The men’s restroom in the lobby was extremely dirty, and the water from the urinal splashed onto your clothes due to poor maintenance. Before our late flight, we asked to leave our luggage at the hotel as we had been told we could. A staff member then tried to charge us money, insisted he had given us a luggage ticket when he had not, became aggressive, kicked objects around, raised his voice, and even accused us of lying. This was completely unacceptable and made us feel very uncomfortable. Although we had already paid the resort fee, the hotel attempted to charge us again. The extra charge was only canceled after I pointed out the mistake. We also booked a rate that included breakfast, yet the hotel attempted to charge us an additional $618 for five days. Again, this was only reversed because I noticed it and questioned the charge. The lobby furniture had clearly not been cleaned for a long time. There were food crumbs between the seats and even ants. The beach chairs and umbrellas were not included and required additional payment. They were also removed at 5:00 PM, just when guests would normally want to relax. The pool closed at 6:00 PM, and the billiards and table tennis could not really be enjoyed because of the early closing time. The bicycles were unavailable after 8:00 PM, making evening rides impossible. Drinks were extremely overpriced. Overall, almost every service had an additional charge or unnecessary restriction.

Liked:It was a short walk to the pool or the beach. The staff was friendly and super helpful.

Disliked:It was more expensive than I planned. Upon arrival a $675 hold was put onto my card. Which was a large chunk of my spending money while on vacation. Food and drinks were expensive at the hotel and surrounding shops and restaurants. It was so busy while I was there. Between two tour busses of teenage girls and extras in town for world cup, the hotel was very active.
