Very nice stay in lovely Fludir

Liked:Lovely guesthouse with beautiful territorial views. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Conveniently located near the Secret Lagoon, a few restaurants and a grocery mart. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Modern room with river views

Liked:Spacious triple room and a beautiful view of the river and hillside. Our room was in the guesthouse located across the street from the hotel.

Disliked:We had a wet bathroom, which is the case in other places we've stayed in Iceland. But the problem with our bathroom was the glass panel didn't separate the shower from the toilet, so the floor was constantly wet. Other rooms might be designed better, but ours was not unfortunately. The biggest issue was the door has a frosted glass window and a sliver of glass window next to the door frame, and these didn't have shades or curtains, which meant there was constant sunlight in July, and no way of darkening the room.
