1,996 reviews

Highlights

+Excellent central riverside location (near Ponte Vecchio/train station)
+Friendly, helpful staff / excellent service
+Outstanding breakfast (varied and plentiful)
+Rooftop terrace, views and additional amenities (jacuzzi, small gym, restaurant)
+Stylish, comfortable and often spacious rooms

Could Improve

–Occasional cleanliness problems reported (ants in bedding, hot water issue, dirty hallway carpet)
–Extra charges for parking and luggage handling
–Some rooms have small bathrooms and limited storage/drawers; some interiors described as basic

Cleanliness7.5

Most reviews describe rooms as spotless and well cleaned, but a few significant negatives were reported (ants found in bedding, lack of hot water in one case, and a dirty hallway carpet) which lowers the score.

Service9.5

Staff repeatedly praised as friendly, welcoming and exceptionally helpful (multiple mentions of reception staff and attentive cleaning staff), with specific compliments for helpful receptionists.

Location9.6

Consistently described as an excellent, central riverside location (steps from Ponte Vecchio/Arno, near train station) — many guests highlight views and convenience.

Room Quality8.4

Rooms described mostly as spacious, comfortable and stylish (some opulent/large rooms noted) but there are recurring minor issues: small bathrooms, limited storage/drawers and some basic room interiors for some rooms.

Amenities9.1

Rooftop terrace, jacuzzi, small gym and on-site restaurant/bar are praised and add enjoyment (sunset views, rooftop seating); amenities are a strong positive.

Value for Money8.3

Generally seen as good value by many guests, but a few mentions of extra charges (parking, luggage handling, paid secured parking) reduce perceived value slightly.

Food and Beverage9.2

Breakfast is frequently described as excellent, varied and plentiful; the on-site restaurant and drinks (spritz etc.) also received positive mentions.

Overall Experience9.6

Overall sentiment is very positive — many guests call it exceptional, recommend it highly and praise the combination of location, staff and amenities.

Overall it was nice …we were there with other friends for a conference

Liked:The main area where reception is is lovely and updated …need a better lounge area. The rooms were big and the bathrooms were lovely with great amenities and toiletries ..bed was comfy ….breakfast included was decent with lots of choice and was a great walkable location. Had a beautiful roof top terrace but we didn’t get to because of the rain while we were there

Disliked:Staff …many of them were very rude and dismissive. The old building we were in had continuous water coming in during the rain storm and the hallways felt like an institution.
