Excellent choice for a private room in faro, would not hesitate to stay again.

Liked:Nice big room, great water pressure in private bathroom, A/C, roof terrace.

Disliked:Not much, paying a key depositions you have something to do before leaving but 24 hour reception.

Liked:Everything, location, the property is traditional Portuguese, so pretty. Staff were amazing, had everything you need. Bathrooms clean, beds are so comfortable..I stayed in room 12, then room 1 and both beds were so comfortable. Bedding was spotless white. A mini shelf for your phone and key above the head part of the bed. They sell a small selection of cold drinks in reception, a little bar on the terrace at night, yoga sessions in the morning for €5. I loved it. First time ever staying in a hostel at age 53 I expected the worst, I would absolutely use a hostel again. All the guests were respectful too. Lockers in room come with a €5 deposit for the locker key and room key which you get back when you leave. Really was a good experience. Highly recommend this hostel.

Disliked:I was on the top bunk (of 3 beds) in room 12, but I got over that pretty quick. I don't like heights and at 53 I have a weaker bladder than the youngsters so was worried about getting out in the night, but I didn't break a leg and the steps up to the third bunk were sturdy and felt safe.

Liked:The whole building is traditional with stone archways?, old tiled floors and wide hallways and corridors-with cool décor.The bedrooms likewise are very spacious and comfortable despite having between 6-12 beds in each. The bunk beds are solidly made from good wood, each having its own wooden ladder so you can comfortable climb into your allocated bed without disturbing others. As a regulat guest, I always sleep well there.

Disliked:No complaints.
