Ok for a night but did not sleep good

Liked:Staff was friendly and reception open around the clock, showers were fine except from that there was no soap or shampoo. Clean sheets but very moveable beds.

Disliked:There is no room for big suitcases, this hostel suits people with just a backpack. No lift so if you have a lot to carry or are differently abled this is not ideal. You have to buy a padlock and towel which I think in this price range it should be included. The window of the room face noisy street, and the curtain bar had fallen and no one fixed it, it was just hanging. The beds are very moveable, so when others around you go into their or move around, your bed literally shakes which makes it very hard to sleep - as people go to bed on very different times. I felt like being in an earthquake. A fan in the room made a huge amount of noise, maybe invest in a fan that isn't so loud or even better - air con?

Too hot and no air con lead to terrible sleep

Liked:The hostel was very cheap per night. The staff member on the front desk was very friendly at check-in and check-out.

Disliked:The room was unbearably hot and resulted in a very uncomfortable night's sleep. No air conditioning in 35° heat in a room full of 6 is not really acceptable. Even if I paid for the five pound padlock, my locker was broken so I didn't have a secure place to store my valuables and belongings.

Liked:Staff and location were great! I had a good stay there and met some great people too.

Disliked:I think in general, I was happy with my stay. Our dormitory was missing AC and the fan had its limitations. I did get sleep though and nice roommates.

Please note that only the double room and twin room include bath linen. Guests staying in other rooms can rent bath linen at the property for an additional charge or bring their own. Each guest aged 13 and over must pay a city tax per night for up to 7 nights of stay. For stays from November 1st to February 29th, the tax is 1€ per person per night, and for stays from March 1st to October 31st, the tax is 2€ per person per night. Both card and cash are accepted for this tax, and payment is made at reception. Please note that this tax rate is effective from November 1, 2024, as set by the Faro Municipal Chamber. Please note that guests under 18 years old are not allowed in shared dormitories and must book a private room.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
